Enchanted Lace-A Beautiful New Business

183

Todays post is very different to my usual variety of mishaps and tales of toddler woe, (although during the discussion of this post, an oven broke down during the cooking of a roast, and there were several assassination attempts on other children/sanity by my tiny ninja child) because I want to talk about the beautiful new business that has been started by my cousin’s lovely wife, Gaja. I hope that when you have all seen the heavenly creations that Gaja is capable of, you will go straight out and support this gorgeous budding business, and want every single item in your house as much as I do!

Enchanted Lace is a small business that Gaja is currently building from home, alongside working 3 days a week in her regular job, and looking after her two little ones, who are the same age as my two little monsters! Fun fact: Both of our first babies were a little ‘surprise,’ and both were due on the same day! That was very exciting for us, as me and my cousin (Gaja’s husband,) were really close growing up, so to have our babies due on the same day sent the family into excitement overdrive! Obviously we knew the chances of it actually happening were slim, and Gaja’s little boy messed it up by arriving 2 weeks early, and mine by straggling behind a week late…But the thought was fun!

Enchanted Lace sells a selection of shabby chic storage boxes, decorative boxes, picture frames, photo albums, vintage folders, wreaths, decorated bottles, and generally beautiful home ware items!

Gaja will also accept commissions, and is happy to work on any individual bespoke items, as requested by lovely customers! Items are perfect for vintage weddings, or anyone wanting a shabby chic or Victorian/Edwardian theme for their home décor.

Gaja’s dream is to give up her regular job, and run Enchanted Lace as her full time job, and this is something I am just as passionate as her, in wanting to see become a reality! Talent like this deserves a wide clientele, and Gaja works really hard to painstakingly hand craft every item from scratch.

You can find Enchanted Lace on Facebook, for regular photos of pretty things, events where Enchanted Lace can be found, and you can also make enquiries and purchases too!

Enchanted Lace also has an Etsy shop, to purchase said beautiful items from! Go on, buy now, buy now!! Share now, share now!!

I offered to write this post for Gaja, because I have seen first hand, the genuine love and passion that goes into creating her items. I want to see her achieve her dreams, because she is lovely, and very talented! A lot of prosecco was consumed during the discussion of the post, but that was in no way given in exchange for a review, we drink it as a general rule, every time we see each other-it’s a family custom. I don’t even need to say that I would definitely buy her items, because you can see from the pictures, they’re the nuts!

Thanks for reading!

xoxo

Gaja, you are very talented. These are absolutely stunning! The designs are so intricately beautiful! I have Liked your Facebook page and I wish you the very best success!

It’s so wonderful, isn’t it, ThisMumsLife, when you have kids the same age within the family. I remember having so much fun with my cousins while growing up and those memories will always stay with me.

I always admire people who manage to successfully run a business from home whilst looking after babies (and working a “real” job as well) – I attempted it but getting the balance right is so hard. Good luck to her!
And thank you for hosting #BigPinkLink!

How lovely of you to write this post for her! We don’t do ‘nice’ things in this house and unless it’s brightly coloured, noisy and made of plastic we’ve learned not to bother but I can see these would make a lovely wedding gift. #bigpinklink

Oh what a talented girl – really beautiful gifts. I wish her all the success in this new venture so that she can work from home and be with her boys too – it’s living the dream for many mummies – am sure she will. I have friends who set up jewellery businesses and small fashion businesses and they do heaps of school fairs, house parties, charity mornings – that may be a good avenue for Gaja to explore also #BigPinkLink

  38. April 18, 2016 / 7:31 pm

Oh my goodness these are the types of things I see on Pinterest and think “I’ll make a shed load of those bottles with twine on for the garden and my garden will look amazing and everyone will be jealous of my handiwork.” And then I realise I have no bottles (the irony after all the wine I seem to consume) and no twine, so I try it with a bit of string on an old Dolmio pasta sauce jar and it looks shite! And also – it’s really bloody difficult! So I drool over things like these when I go to places that sell them and just buy them. Soooo much easier! Gaja is very talented! Thanks for hosting #bigpinklink 🙂

  39. April 18, 2016 / 7:42 pm

What beautiful products! I wish I could have pretty stuff like that around my house but with 3 little ones they would tear it apart. Ever since we have moved into our new house I haven’t done much decorating and my husband gets on me about it in which I reply that I will get around to it when I feel the kids are at an age that they will leave stuff alone lol. Thanks so much for hostessing #bigpinklink
