#bigpinklink week 3!
Welcome back lovely linkers, and the warmest welcome to any new linkers this week! I am hugely proud to report that last week we did even better than week one, with a huge 76 linked posts!!!! Thank you so much, reading everybody’s posts is a real joy, and me and Lou are loving you all, and loving hosting this linky!
Ok, so before we get to the interesting stuff, I just have to be a bit of an old headmistress-type bore, and just remind everyone that when you take part in this linky, you must put our badge at the bottom of your post! And also, you must comment on both the host posts! That is, one of mine, and one of Lou’s. If one of us links two posts, the rules are the same, just comment on one post from each of us. You must also comment on the post in front of yours, and any others you have time for! The comment love karma will come right back at ya one day! Unfortunately last week we did have a couple of people last week who dropped off their posts without the badge, and didn’t comment on any posts at all. PLEASE DON’T DO THIS! We don’t want to have to get all Big Brother on y’all, like hall monitors, and start putting the offenders into detention, or even expelling repeat offenders!
Now that’s over, on to featured posts! The first of my favourites from last week came from Mess stress and Fancy Dress, with her post ‘To the mum of the toddler that bit my child‘ a fabulous post about (how flipping fantastically) she dealt with her child being bitten. I think this should be made The Gold Standard Parenting Policy for how you should deal with this situation!
My second featured post from last week comes from Robyn, at The Years Are Short with her post ‘Are You Still Thinking Big?‘, a thought provoking look at whether we stop ‘thinking big’ for ourselves once we become parents, or whether as our priorities have changed, baby steps to chasing what we want for ourselves is the way forward.
Lou’s favourites were ‘A Small Thing’ by Someone’s Mum, a heartbreakingly beautiful post about the battles her son faces, and how achieving one small thing, was a part of his journey up the steep mountain he has to climb…
Her second featured post is from Island Living 365 (featured post on two consecutive weeks now!) with ‘Why I Left Teaching’ a very sad look at the current education system, and why she no longer feels she can be a part of it.
If you haven’t already, go and check out these fabulous blogs, and the four of you can help yourselves to the featured post badge below!
I’m linking with ‘Social Media Speed Dating’ this week, and I’m also throwing in a review I did this week, on Nutty Putty (it was fab!) if anyone wants to take a look!
So get your link on, and let’s see what we all have to bring to the party this week!
